Our planning committee met tonight to recount our reunion evening - Each of us felt the gathering met or exceeded our expectations
and believe that it seemed that all who attended truly enjoyed the camaraderie and catching up the evening provided. We had a great turnout,
the venue was fantastic, the food was very tasty and it was just plain FUN. Russell Packard, thanks for your musical contribution
around the fire pit, Dan Hammond, - way to harmonize!! Smores were perfect, Laura Merritt!! Debbie Swanson you did one bang up job as WebMaster,
what a great way to get the word out to as many people as you did! Barb Swanson, it was so lovely to see you again,
thanks for sharing photos of your beautiful child! David Eijadi, thanks for being a photo buddy - Eric Olson,
really looking forward to seeing some of those photos you took!!! Norman Saetre, I believe you traveled the farthest- from Alaska.
We had quite a few who traveled far to attend: Sally Rhodes and husband from CO, Kyle Berry Ice and husband Sam from VA,
Steve and Wanda Berthene from IL - Wanda, we enjoyed your enthusiasm and great ability to remember and recite something about each of us you met!!,
Ron Solyst and lovely wife from IL, Eric Olson, M.D. from Idaho (remember to share your photos, please!)
Anyway, it was a night to remember and we hope the next time around YOU will be there with us.
We are talking about having an annual event, the easy way to remember when would be to have it on Orono's homecoming every year
and have a casual get together on that eve - either at the Rooster OR ??????
We will keep you posted

Hey Good Spartans of 1972. It's kind of killing me to have to send my regrets for attendance at the festivities.
For a while it seemed possible that I could attend the game and Red Rooster, but not Saturday. And now the Friday window has closed as well.
It will be my loss for sure. Even though my life is pretty darn good, I find myself at that age that I hearken back to the day.
My heart will be with you all as you reminisce and visit the night away.

It has been almost 35 years since I have seen any or many of you guys.
